2. AI assistant scope (Dr. Noor)
The AI assistant (Dr. Noor and related intake tools) is for symptom organization, general information, provider routing, and preparation of intake summaries for licensed professionals. The AI does not:
- diagnose conditions;
- prescribe medication or recommend medication dosage;
- determine urgency or make a triage decision;
- replace a licensed medical evaluation, emergency services, or urgent in-person care.
The AI assistant is not a medical device. Its output may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unsuitable for urgent conditions.
3. Consult licensed professionals
Always consult a licensed healthcare provider for diagnosis, treatment decisions, medication changes, and follow-up care. The provider you select has sole clinical responsibility for your care.

Do not use OmanDoctors to delay emergency or in-person care. If you believe you have a medical emergency, call emergency services in Oman immediately on 9999 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not wait for a response from the Platform or the AI assistant.
5. Red-flag symptoms — seek urgent care now
- Chest pain or pressure
- Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
- Severe allergic reaction (swelling, wheezing, anaphylaxis)
- Stroke symptoms (facial drooping, arm weakness, speech difficulty)
- Severe bleeding that does not stop
- Pregnancy emergency symptoms (severe pain, heavy bleeding, reduced fetal movement)
- Infant or child with high fever, lethargy, or breathing difficulty
- Suicidal thoughts, self-harm, or harm to others
6. Provider listing information
Provider profiles may include information from public sources (such as Google Places), provider submissions, or admin review. Listings are updated progressively and may not reflect real-time availability, pricing, insurance acceptance, or emergency capabilities. Confirm details directly with the provider before relying on them for urgent needs.

7. Online Consultations and Telehealth Regulatory Reviewالاستشارات عن بُعد ومراجعة المتطلبات التنظيمية للطب عن بُعد
Online consultation features on OmanDoctors are intended to help users request communication with participating healthcare providers. OmanDoctors does not itself provide telemedicine, clinical services, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, emergency triage, or medical decision-making.
Participating providers are solely responsible for determining whether an online consultation is clinically appropriate, obtaining any required patient consent, maintaining medical records, complying with professional licensing and telehealth requirements, and advising the patient when in-person care, emergency care, or referral is needed.
OmanDoctors may provide technology tools such as booking, intake forms, messaging, payment initiation, reminders, and meeting-link fields. These tools do not replace the provider's professional judgment or regulatory obligations.
Telehealth-related workflows, consent wording, provider responsibilities, and platform limitations remain subject to legal, clinical, and regulatory review before any full commercial telehealth launch.
